Our corporate entity has always been and remains Mercury Aircraft Inc. — a name established in 1929 and carried through a century of service to the aerospace and defense industry. During WWII, Mercury Aircraft answered the call, manufacturing components for the P-40, A-25, SB2C, and C-46 aircraft in direct support of America's war effort.
