Job description We are searching for a skilled tooling engineer to join our manufacturing team. The tooling engineer’s responsibilities include enhancing existing designs and developing new ones, preparing blueprints for mechanical parts, and providing technical support to clients. Responsibilities:
  • Using CAD or SolidWorks to analyze existing tooling designs and improve on them.
  • Developing blueprints for new tooling designs as per client or project specifications.
  • Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback in the new designs.
  • Developing prototypes and testing new designs.
  • Carrying out quality assurance tests on new designs.
  • Creating blueprints and designs using CAD or AutoCAD.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Tool and Die-making and in Metal Forming Tools and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to select and use all types of mill and lathe machines, fixtures, gages, etc.
  • Read and interpret complex mechanical drawing and common work instructions without supervision.
  • Ability to manage several projects at different stages of development.
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate with others.
  • Practical experience using CAD and SolidWorks software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • The ability to complete projects on time and to specification.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job description

Advanced Assembler We are looking for a skilled Advanced Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This individual should be able to work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. The Advanced Assembler will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces, adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This person will verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. Responsibilities:
  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms to assemble products according to customer specifications
  • Recognize quality of parts and materials used in production
  • Follow company procedures and directives
  • Test finished products for defects
  • Maintain the tools used to create products
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
Requirements:
  • Blueprint reading
  • Minimum three years related experience and/or training
  • Experience in electronic or mechanical assembly preferred
  • Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy parts and machinery
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Must have basic math skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Job Description: We are looking for experienced press brake operators on our 1st or 2nd shifts who are able to set up and run a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates. Our 1st shift runs M-F, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and 2nd shift is M-F, 3:00 - 11:30 pm. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
  • Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by blueprints and production schedules.
  • Measures and aligns materials to be used.
  • Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Performs routine maintenance on the press brake.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and product specifications.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of press brake experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically able to operate the press brake.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
